This painting is closest to my heart first because it was made for a very good friend of mine who is also quite close to my heart and second, it is amongst the best original artworks that I have ever created. This painting shows Melbourne town hall situated at a the crossing of Collins Street and Swanston Street, I chose this place to paint because I like the architecture of this building and also this is the place where my friend's office is situated for whom I have made this painting. I have never been to Australia but I did a bit of research on google maps, flickr and other websites and finally made this painting. I hope this painting adores one of his offices’ walls one day.

How nostalgic it is to see your old mails and you come across thoughts hidden in mails that you forget with the passage of time, and not just that you come across attached pics that would be lying in the mailbox gathering virtual dust for long without getting any attention.....today while going through my mailbox i stumbled upon such a painting that i made with windows paint brush program during my office hours while i was working in Infovision now serco sometime in 2007......wow! how nice it was to work there making paintings online with paint brush while answering the UK customers was just fantastic ...those were the good days and worth remembering forever...this painting that I quite aptly named ENLIGHTENMENT that dipicts a lizard getting enlightened with the glow of a lamp........it was an experiment with light and its interaction with the surrounding......certainly a piece of art worth adding to my blog.

Actually I have this french interior designe magazine CAMPAGNE..which is inspiring me to do more and more interiors in this particular style and I get to practice a lot that way...hope to light these interiors in different moods.

Another interior scene that I just now completed in maya ...i m really happy about this one as I am able to reach quite a bit close to the result that i had set to achieve...and i am excited to share this with people....

Today, I have posted after so long and its been ages since I have posted my traditional art work or digital painting actually all my time is being utilized in doing 3d projects...i hope to take out some time and do some serious work in 2d...and yes still haven't been able to complete my Bahadur shah zafar..feel pretty bad for that but can't help it... hope to complete the same as soon as possible and post it soon...!!

This is another interior project I did for learning purpose...took inspiration from a french interior magazine..there is lot of scope of improvement from lighting's point of view .......But hope to achieve what I intend to in my next project....completed on 21/august/09!!!

My latest digital work created in 3D softaware Maya, Its just an experimentation with lighting and textureing. I have tried to use this image as a bookcover with hypothetical name...."The pillars of eternity" which does seem to justice to image as I feel the pillars do look old, but still standing strong.

This is the latest painting that I have made which is a reproduction of Van Gough's not very famous painting "Fishing boats on the beach at Saintes-Maries"I especially like it because of the contrasting colours and the texture of sand and sea, though colours look a lot different...Thats maybe because of my inability to copy the great master exactly, no matter how well I try. Also, I have done it with Acrylic colours which is not similar to oils, But its a very good learning experience for sure therefore would love to keep doing this in future to horn my skills and keep posting.

Second post..today I played with options to give my webpage a better look...I'v used a part of image of Bhadur Shah Zafar, thats being made digitally with photoshop, for one of my projects which is in progress. Hope to finish it fast and post it soon.
