painting that I have made which is a reproduction of Van Gough's not very famous painting "Fishing boats on the beach at Saintes-Maries"I especially like it because of the contrasting colours and the texture of sand and sea, though colours look a lot different...Thats maybe because of my inability to copy the great master exactly, no matter how well I try. Also, I have done it with Acrylic colours which is not similar to oils, But its a very good learning experience for sure therefore would love to keep doing this in future to horn my skills and keep posting.Date 19/march/09
